Have you run out of ideas for Scout meetings? Let the Buffalo Grove Park District and the Raupp Museum help. Many Scout badge requirements can be filled by visiting the Raupp Museum and completing an activity while you are there. Some badges can even be earned completely in one visit to the museum. Please Note: There may be a small fee ($1 - $2 per Scout) associated with some Badge programs.

The Raupp Museum has programs that can help with the following Scout Badges, Patches, activities and pins:

This 90-minute class is designed for Scouts (both boys and
girls) to have the opportunity to earn their Manner Badge.

grace classes. Some of the topics covered include introductions, conversations, proper table setting and technique. All class times, dates and fees will be coordinated through the Park District. Please call Chris Eckert at (847) 850-2123 to schedule a class.

Basic Water Rescue (Will help provide Water Safety Badge)
This class will provide individuals with information and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. Participants will learn how to prepare and protect themselves and assist others. There is an in-water skills session so all participants need to be prepared to enter the water (chest deep).
